I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our classroom project on DonorsChoose. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our students and has brought us one step closer to creating an enriching learning environment.\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, we were able to get headsets, Eyeword sight word cards, erasers for student whiteboards, Magna Doodle Boards, and a laptop stand. These resources are not just materials; they are tools that empower our students to explore, learn, and grow. Your support has allowed us to enhance our reading program, foster creativity, and improve engagement towards literacy success.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, we strive to create a space where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. Your generosity has played a crucial role in making this vision a reality. The excitement on our students' faces when they received these items was truly priceless. It is moments like these that remind us of the profound impact that community support can have on education.\r\n\r\nI want to share a few stories that highlight the difference your contribution has made. The headsets purchased made a positive impact on our student MAP Fluency assessment results! The MAP Fluency assessment requires students to record themselves reading. These headsets decreased the number of audio issues and provided a clear audio for teachers to hear. A \"No Score\" is usually given in instances when the audio is not too clear. These past two assessments have shown a great decrease in \"No Scores\" on our data. Furthermore, the Eyeword cards have shown a positive impact on our students with difficulty recognizing Sight Words. Based on our data, these students have shown growth in their sight word recognition skills. These experiences are a testament to the power of your generosity and the positive change it brings to our classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we continue to navigate the challenges of education, your support serves as a beacon of hope and encouragement. It reminds us that we are not alone in our mission to provide quality education to our students. Your belief in our work motivates us to strive for excellence and to ensure that every child has access to the resources they need to succeed.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your incredible generosity. We are truly grateful for your support and commitment to education. We would love to keep you updated on our progress and the ongoing impact of your contribution. If you would like to hear more about our classroom activities or have any questions, please feel free to reach out.\r\n\r\nThank you for being a vital part of our educational journey. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students, and we are excited to see what the future holds.","fullyFundedDate":1739371419559,"projectUrl":"project/support-reading-success-for-every-studen/8990990/","projectTitle":"Support Reading Success for Every Student!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sandoval","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9296108"},{"teacherId":8843812,"projectId":8470846,"letterContent":"Thank you for making this project a reality. With the books, students were able to complete activities involving 2-digit addition, parts of speech, money, multiplication, sequencing, story elements, cause and effect, writing, and a science stem project. For this particular project, students went on a camping trip inside the classroom. We turned off the lights and students used their flashlights while reading the book. They used tree trunk looking pencils, s'more smelling bookmarks and stickers, and camping bracelets to make this day extra special. In addition, at the end of the day, they had s'mores and a certificate as a reward for the completion of the \"Camp-Read-A-Lot\" Day. Students were paired with a partner to complete the activities. They learned from each other and shared ideas together. Being that this special project involved cross curricular activities, students were able to work cooperatively.
