We were able to replace the broken table in the middle of the classroom and then add the new table into the current setup, expanding the workspace available for each of the art classes. Additionally, the funds allowed us to purchase a shelf for the new table, which will give the students space to store their supplies while they are working on their projects (without the supplies getting in the way of the project). Having this storage space above the table also reduces the need for students to get up and get supplies from various places in the classroom, keeping things cleaner, more orderly, and allowing them more time to focus on the project at hand.\r\n\r\nI truly appreciate all of your generosity and support of the studio art room. I am hoping that RES will fund the purchase of more matching black tables and shelves next year to increase the benefit exponentially. I am so thankful we were able to get started on revamping the old, worn out tables currently in the classroom - it truly has made such a difference to me and the students.
