Your contribution has already made a tremendous impact in fostering creativity, leadership, and school spirit among our students.\r\n\r\nWith the addition of our new button maker, students are enthusiastically designing and creating custom buttons that celebrate their House achievements, encourage teamwork, and recognize their peers' hard work. This hands-on activity has sparked a new level of engagement and pride within our Ron Clark Academy-inspired House system. Students are not only embracing their House identities but also stepping into leadership roles as they brainstorm designs, organize button-making sessions, and distribute their creations to motivate their classmates.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding aspects has been witnessing students use their buttons as positive reinforcement. They have taken the initiative to create \"Kindness Buttons,\" \"Leadership Badges,\" and \"House Spirit Awards\" to acknowledge their peers' efforts. The ripple effect of encouragement and community-building is inspiring, and it's all thanks to your generosity.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped foster a sense of belonging, creativity, and leadership that will continue to grow throughout the school year. Thank you, Panda Cares, for believing in our students and for making a difference in their educational journey. Your kindness and generosity truly empower the next generation.","fullyFundedDate":1739372319794,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-house-pride-button-maker-for/8892878/","projectTitle":"Empowering House Pride: Button Maker for Creative Leadership and TeamSpirit","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Coogler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5622657_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y230&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1709515186106","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5622657"},{"teacherId":9596233,"projectId":8502213,"letterContent":"We are a very small High School campus in a very small town in East Texas, and we were very excited to receive the Promethean Board. I am the second teacher on campus to have this device and mine is 86 inches! The whole school was enamored with the features, the learning tools it is built with, and most of all, the interactive aspect of it. It works like a giant computer where they can access photos, diagrams, annotate passages, and do seamless presentations. \r\nEvery last one of my classes came in ready to talk about what we read - from opinions on the characters and plot to discussing predictions of what was coming next and to demonstrate it on the Promethean. \r\nThis amazing piece of technology has increased learning engagement by far. Students are able to get up out of their desk and demonstrate their learning with the interactive tools. We were reading The Cask of Amontillado and the kids were able to explore background information of Edgar Allan Poe, his themes and his writing styles. Most of all, they were able to use technology to synthesize prior knowledge with new information using this tool. \r\nWe appreciate all that you have done to make this dream, thought, and idea come true to us. \r\nWe are sending love from the Pineywoods Community Academy family.","fullyFundedDate":1726845278997,"projectUrl":"project/promethean-technology-trailblazers/8502213/","projectTitle":"Promethean Technology Trailblazers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ross","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9596233"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_29055","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1005,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":53,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":18,"percentWhite":47,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":29,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"52.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":84.4,"schoolId":29055,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pineywoods Community Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pineywoods Community Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/texas-department-of-education/pineywoods-academy/29055"}
