Having easy access to disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, and other essential cleaning supplies helped me maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming learning environment for my students every single day. With nearly 100 middle school scholars rotating through my classroom, these supplies allowed us to quickly clean shared materials, sanitize desks, and reduce the spread of germs so students could stay focused on learning rather than illness.\r\n\r\nBeyond keeping our classroom clean, this project helped create a space where students felt cared for and valued. A clean classroom sends the message that their health, well-being, and learning matter. Because of the generosity of DonorsChoose supporters, I was able to spend less time worrying about purchasing basic supplies out of my own pocket and more time investing in engaging lessons, building relationships, and creating memorable experiences for my students.
