The classroom was filled with laughter and curiosity as they eagerly unpacked each box, taking turns reading the instructions and sharing ideas about how to play. We've been using the games to build teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. For example, during our \"Fun Friday Learning Lab,\" students rotate through game stations that reinforce math facts, vocabulary, and strategic thinking all while practicing cooperation and communication. It has been incredible to see how quickly they've connected play with learning.\r\n\r\nSince receiving these resources, our next steps include creating a \"Student Game Leaders\" group, where selected students will teach their peers how to use each game and help design their own classroom challenges inspired by what they've learned. This will not only strengthen their leadership and collaboration skills but also deepen their understanding of the subjects behind each game. These materials have truly transformed our classroom into a space where learning feels engaging, joyful, and full of discovery.","fullyFundedDate":1749755777349,"projectUrl":"project/board-game-bonus/9362601/","projectTitle":"Board Game Bonus!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. G","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8626285_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737164993379","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8626285"},{"teacherId":8626285,"projectId":9069690,"letterContent":"On behalf of The Golden Girlz Mentorship Group, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations. Your support has truly made an impact on our girls, allowing them to explore new skills, build stronger relationships, and grow in ways we never imagined.\r\n\r\nThe technology you provided has given our girls the opportunity to bring their imaginations to life by designing flyers and T-shirts, helping them learn valuable digital skills that will serve them well in the future. The Jenga game has been more than just a fun activity—it has helped our girls develop their communication and teamwork skills, teaching them how to work together towards a shared goal. Lastly, the air-dry modeling clay has allowed them to bond in a creative and meaningful way by partnering up to create friendship sculptures that symbolize their growing connections.\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, The Golden Girlz continue to thrive, build strong relationships, and develop essential life skills that will stay with them for years to come.
