Because of your support, we were able to jump-start the development of our outdoor classroom after experiencing some delays at the beginning of the school year.\r\n\r\nWhen the students received the materials, they were excited and eager to get started! They immediately began painting and showcasing their artistic skills on canvases, which will be displayed throughout the classroom and school building.\r\n\r\nAs part of the outdoor classroom project, students collaborated and shared ideas for themes and designs, including birdhouses and other creative elements. After voting, the students chose a nature theme. Our vision is to create an outdoor learning space that includes painted flower pots, tables, birdhouses, and educational information about the plants we will be growing. Students are also focused on reusing and repurposing materials whenever possible. For example, one student donated tires to be used as flower beds, which the club is currently painting.\r\n\r\nOnce the flower pots and flower beds are in place, the next phase of the project will begin with the formation of a garden team or club. We are so grateful that we have been able to extend this opportunity to create an entire class around this experience entitled Student to industry connections.
