Your donations have made such a difference, and I'm thrilled to share how the donation of our bookshelves you provided are transforming our students' learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting change has been the addition of our library, thanks to your support. Our classroom now has a beautiful class library, filled with a wide variety of books that my students can explore. Seeing the shelves filled with books has sparked a new excitement for reading in our classroom. My students were so thrilled when they first saw the bookshelves—they couldn't wait to pick out a book and start reading! It's been incredible to see them so engaged, flipping through the pages, and discovering new worlds through literature.\r\n\r\nWe've already started using the library for independent reading time and book club discussions. One student, who had been reluctant to read at the beginning of the year, couldn't put down a graphic novel that they found on the new shelf. Their enthusiasm for reading grew, and they even shared their thoughts on the character's journey with the class, which was a huge moment of growth!\r\n\r\nThank you again for making all of this possible. Your support has not only provided physical resources, but also a sense of ownership and pride in our classroom library. It's helping to create a learning environment where students are motivated, inspired, and excited to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1730286956080,"projectUrl":"project/where-to-put-our-books/8487754/","projectTitle":"Where to Put Our Books?","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Piper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9586622_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x0,y99&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720493432851","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9586622"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_14734","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":406,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":72,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":21,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":65,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"4 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":69.6,"schoolId":14734,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Main Street Imtermediate School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Main Street Imtermediate School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/taylor-independent-school-district/t-h-johnson-elementary-school/14734"}
