Having chemicals to create real world labs adds experiences for students that not only make science and learning more fun but also connects learning to the outside world. They can see in a reactions lab the different types of evidences that point to a chemical change happening in front of them. They can see color changes that wow them but also show the beauty of science. They can see the effect of acids and bases on a system, but they can also see why equilibrium, buffers and homeostasis are so important. \r\n\r\nTeachers can't do what we need to do without the supplies to do them. We can't do gallery walks without paper and ink. We can't mark up notes with color coding without markers. We can't create depth and sustainability without the resources to do so. Thank you for allowing teachers to partner with people who have a passion for learning and a passion for science and a passion for helping people with the resources to do both well. \r\n\r\nI look forward to helping my students get to connect science, learning, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and empathy in a way that will make a difference in their lives and in the lives of those around them.
