My students love having the opportunity to explore science topics through books, and these resources have helped bring our lessons to life in a way that is engaging and accessible for all learners.\r\n\r\nThe books have introduced my students to new vocabulary, scientific concepts, real-world examples, and topics that extend beyond what we are able to cover in our regular lessons. They have also helped students practice important reading skills such as finding key details, making connections, asking questions, and using text features to gather information.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become an opportunity for students to explore topics they are genuinely curious about. Students enjoy looking through the books independently, sharing interesting facts with their classmates, and using the books to learn more about concepts we are studying. Some students who may not always be excited about traditional reading have been especially drawn to the science books because they can choose topics that interest them and learn something new at the same time.\r\n\r\nThank you to every donor who helped make this project possible!
