They are learning how to process orders, take inventory, calculate sales price and tax, deliver completed orders, etc.\r\nWe wouldn't be functioning without the support you provided. The dehumidifier helps keep our filament in great shape, so every print turns out amazing. Already, we've made toothbrush holders, fidgets, little dinosaur keychains, desk nameplates, and heart boxes. Some of us love searching for special print files online, while others enjoy operating the printer. Together, we are learning how to plan what items to make and sell, how long a print will take, how much it costs, and who might be interested in buying it.\r\n\r\nYour kindness shows us that people believe in us and our ideas. What you have given our classroom is far more than just a machine—you have provided a tool that ignites creativity, fosters a sense of ownership, and instills confidence in our students.\r\n\r\nSince the arrival of our 3D printer, our classroom has been filled with excitement and endless possibilities. Every student, regardless of ability, has had the opportunity to dream, design, and create. The sense of accomplishment they feel when holding something they created is truly inspiring. It's more than just printing objects; it's about proving to them that their ideas matter and that they are capable of bringing them to life.\r\n\r\nThis experience has also planted seeds of adventure and hope for their futures. Many of our students face unique challenges, but working with this hands-on technology has shown them they can perform meaningful work. They are gaining real-world skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and perseverance—tools they will carry far beyond our classroom. We need materials like this in our classrooms! Most of our students thrive when given the chance to explore, take risks, learn from mistakes, and discover that perseverance and resilience are essential to innovation.\r\n\r\nThe most beautiful part of this journey is that everyone is involved. The enthusiasm is contagious, and the sense of community it has built is remarkable. We collaborate, troubleshoot, celebrate successes, and learn from failures together. Your generosity has sparked something truly special, and we cannot thank you enough.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and empowering them to dream bigger, reach higher, and create boldly. Our school is an alternate campus that serves students who are at risk of dropping out of high school. This population is often underserved and the students sometimes feel like they do not get treated the same as the \"traditional\" kids. Spirit days, pep rallies, and yes, yearbooks, are things our school has never done. \r\n\r\nBut this year is different. I was asked to create a Leadership club and one of the things we have the opportunity to create is this Yearbook. We've encouraged students to participate in spirit days and taking pictures for the yearbook has been a fun activity. \r\n\r\nOur Leadership students have really enjoyed the new found freedom and responsibility to move throughout our school, taking pictures and strengthening relationships with our faculty and students. They have been given privileges, like leaving class a few minutes early to set up projects, and leaving the lunch room to take pictures. These kids have become empowered and more comfortable in our school.
