My students have been utilizing the items at our new stations as well as during our read aloud. They love everything and were so excited when we got to change out our station materials. It has helped keep them engaged and focused as sometimes doing the same thing can be monotonous. At the sensory station they are using the dough with letter mats and stamps to learn their letters. The kitchen stuff has been fun for them to use in dramatic play station. They have's loved the biscuit books during our read alouds and I have the biscuit stuffy who goes to visit the students who are quiet and focused. They have helped make our class fun and engaging as well as useful. Some of my students don't get the opportunity to read or use new books so being able to that for them was tremendous. Even though the book was sad they thoroughly enjoyed it. When doing a wrap up packet of the year, it asked for something they enjoyed this year in class and many students wrote reading and learning about The One and Only Ivan. The headphones were utilized often and especially while reading the books when we used the audio version to read along to.
