A lot of my students prefer listening to stories instead of reading them, kind of like an audiobook experience, and these headphones have made that possible. They're able to clearly hear stories about inspiring entrepreneurs, which helps them stay engaged and better understand what they're learning.\r\n\r\nWe also spend time exploring colleges, and students use different programs to learn more about them. Now, they can all watch videos on their own devices at the same time without being distracted by background noise. It's made a big difference in keeping everyone focused.\r\n\r\nWhat they really enjoy is being able to learn at their own pace. They can go back, rewatch, and dive deeper into topics they care about. The headphones give them the space to really focus and take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nI've even had a few students tell me this is the only class where they get to use technology like this, and it's something they genuinely look forward to. It's been great to see how excited they are and how much more engaged they've become.","fullyFundedDate":1771194464770,"projectUrl":"project/learning-in-focus-empowering-students-t/9800787/","projectTitle":"Learning in Focus: Empowering Students Through Technology and Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Solis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5110798_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1539361672221","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jsolis"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_10334","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":590,"numTeachers":59,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":98,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"10.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":48.9,"schoolId":10334,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Miller Jordan Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Miller Jordan Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/san-benito-consolidated-independent-school-district/miller-jordan-middle-school/10334"}
