Many of our donors may use technology at home, but in the classroom, these tools play a critical role in supporting differentiated instruction. The headphones allow students to fully engage in digital learning platforms without distractions, especially during small group instruction, intervention time, and independent practice. This helps each student work at their own pace while building confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting for students is having their own set of headphones and access to hands-on STEM kits. The headphones make them feel focused and \"in their own learning space,\" while the STEM kits bring learning to life. Students love collaborating, building, and problem-solving together—it turns learning into an engaging, interactive experience.\r\n\r\nSeveral students, especially our English learners and those who benefit from extra support, have really thrived with this new technology. The headphones help them clearly hear instructions, videos, and read-aloud supports, which improves comprehension and reduces frustration. During STEM activities, students who may typically be more reserved are stepping up, participating more, and showing creativity and leadership.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support—these resources are making a meaningful difference in our students' daily learning experiences!","fullyFundedDate":1764723461230,"projectUrl":"project/stem-in-action-building-creating-and/9824943/","projectTitle":"STEM in Action: Building, Creating, and Learning Together!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Marchán","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4605032_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746904373720","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/hheeaglegarden"},{"teacherId":10238859,"projectId":9676329,"letterContent":"My 2nd grade class truly appreciates the new resources that were donated to us. They have enjoyed have a central space to foster their learning. It has made our classroom environment an inviting and welcoming space. Students have also enjoyed using the seat cushions to read and have flexible options for their learning. When I first set out the carpet, cushions, calm corner rug, and headphones in our classroom my students were so surprised and excited to have these resources available for them. They wanted me to thank you all for the generous donations. Everything that was contributed has helped impact my student's learning so they can be successful life-long learners.","fullyFundedDate":1764704453400,"projectUrl":"project/a-seat-for-everyone-designing-welcoming/9676329/","projectTitle":"A Seat for Everyone: Designing Welcoming, Flexible Environments","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bautista","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10238859"},{"teacherId":10164911,"projectId":9566222,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for contributing to our safe place inside the classroom. When we first got the packages, the first thing I did was have the class take a moment to listen to me explain the project. I explained what exactly it was for and how we were going to implement it into our classroom culture. The look on their faces when seeing the pillows, magnets, new books, and fidgets was quite possibly my favorite part of all of this. \r\n\r\nBeyond put excitement to experience this project together, it warms my heart to see my students using the materials day in and day out. From coming in and having a rough morning to having a moment at school, they know our safe place is their place. Because of your donation, our students now have access to a child-sized picnic table, a sensory play table, and raised garden beds that are already transforming our learning environment. The students were filled with excitement the moment they saw these new resources and couldn't wait to get involved. Our Gardening and STEM Club students proudly assembled the garden beds themselves, giving them a hands-on opportunity to collaborate, problem-solve, and take ownership of their learning space.\r\n\r\nThese resources are already opening doors to meaningful projects. We are in the process of becoming a Monarch Heroes campus, and the raised beds will soon be home to milkweed and nectar plants to support monarch butterflies.
