It is much more than just a project that you donated to. Since I have recieved the 3D printer I have had Advanced User Experience Design students in TinkerCAD (and a few in Blender) creating 3D designs to print. It has made a significant stir of enthusiasm for design in this class!\r\n\r\nIn my Entrepreneurship class, they are using these designs and gallery designs to explore 3D printing. As of the end of this semester, I have organized two teams to be stewards of the printing and together they are learning about the ins and outs of 3d printing. They were inspired, and with my approval, they moved beyond simply assisting with students' minimum viable product printing to forming a team focused on raising funds for their field trip accounts. The initial product has already created a buzz on the campus because I charged the student teams to do real market research, analyze results and start a production and marketing plan. I am very proud of them!\r\n\r\nI have two students to \"spotlight\". One student was a high performer that was slipping due to teen things. Having the printer and being involved with a new team dynamic lit his fire for this class. The other student was a recipient of an unexpected print of her 3D design that she rendered in TinkerCAD. She is a student that struggle with everyday life, so it helped motivate her to get more work done. This would have not happened without the team or the printer!\r\n\r\nThanks again for your generosity.
