These books introduce students to important reading skills, including understanding story structure, identifying character traits, making inferences, and analyzing themes. The graphic novels strengthen visual literacy and sequencing skills, while memoirs and realistic stories help students build empathy and connect literature to real-life experiences. STEM-focused texts also spark problem-solving and creative thinking.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is energetic and student-centered. Students choose books that match their interests and reading levels, engage in independent reading, and participate in discussions where they share favorite characters, plot twists, and lessons learned. Several reluctant readers have become more motivated because the graphic novels feel approachable and fun, while advanced readers enjoy diving into longer chapter books and series. I've also seen students recommending books to classmates and eagerly asking for the next book in a series — a wonderful sign that reading excitement is growing.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has transformed our classroom library into a space that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a true love of reading.
