The beautiful calendar, chalk markers, and cleaning cloths have already made a meaningful difference in our daily routines.\r\n\r\nThe calendar has become a central part of our classroom—it helps my students visually understand time, structure their days, and celebrate important moments together. The bright, vibrant chalk markers catch their attention and make learning more engaging, while the cleaning cloths make it easy for us to keep things fresh and ready for the next activity.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, visual supports and hands-on interaction are essential for learning. Your thoughtful donation has given us a tool that combines both—making a lasting impact on how my students engage, learn, and grow. It's more than a calendar—it's a part of our classroom community now.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and supporting their journey.","fullyFundedDate":1752671648295,"projectUrl":"project/a-year-in-focus-building-our-classroom/9246770/","projectTitle":"A Year in Focus: Building Our Classroom Calendar","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aleida Pena","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9351398_orig.jpg?crop=1500,1500,x0,y215&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1715183997032","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9351398"},{"teacherId":9333284,"projectId":8834598,"letterContent":"Since my classroom was funded by you, my students have loved coming to class every day. Just yesterday, we did an activity on comparing fractions, and most of my students chose to sit on their wobble cushions while working. They love having the flexibility to sit in a chair with their bands or on the floor with the wobble cushions, making learning more comfortable and engaging.\r\n\r\nI've also been able to laminate a lot of my students' work, especially the multiplication charts. This allows them to repeatedly practice creating multiples and write out strategies or notes using dry-erase markers. At the end of the lesson, they simply erase their work with the eraser shag and hang the laminated sheets with magnetic tools, making them ready for the next class to use. When students feel proud of their work, they have the option to display it on the walls using tape, which brings them a sense of accomplishment and motivation to do their best.\r\n\r\nThe excitement when my students first saw the packages was incredible—it was an understatement to say they were thrilled! They couldn't wait to use the new materials. Many have shared how much they love the chair bands because they help them focus and think more clearly. They also really enjoy using dry-erase markers on the laminated worksheets instead of traditional paper and pencil. These small changes have made a big difference in their learning experience, making lessons more interactive and enjoyable.\r\n\r\nCurrently, we're working on polygons, and my students love using the wobble cushions or the chairs with bands while they learn. They use the laminated worksheets to classify polygons, take notes, and draw examples. Some even add their own creative touch by sketching trees or cartoons around their work to help them remember key concepts in a fun and visual way. It's amazing to see how engaged they are, and it's all thanks to the resources you provided.\r\n\r\nNone of the activities I've been able to do would have been possible without your generous donation. My students now feel more in control of their learning—they no longer see it as a chore but as an exciting opportunity to have fun and collaborate with their friends. Every day, they walk into the classroom eager to learn, knowing they have the tools and environment to support them. Your kindness has transformed our learning space into a place of creativity, collaboration, and joy.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for your generosity. Your support has not only provided essential resources but has also inspired a love for learning in my students. They are more confident, motivated, and engaged, and I am incredibly grateful for the impact you've made.","fullyFundedDate":1733065108715,"projectUrl":"project/calculating-kindness/8834598/","projectTitle":"Calculating Kindness","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Duverney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9333284_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1736862603829","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9333284"},{"teacherId":9746069,"projectId":8773384,"letterContent":"The students have been able to use the white boards to practice their writing skills as well as to draw goofy pictures.
