When my students began to see huge boxes arrive in class, they began to ask: Teacher, what is that and what is that other thing? They were very excited when I told them that they were gifts for our class that had been donated to us and that we were going to use as the days went by. Seeing those faces of amazement, excitement and happiness filled my heart that day. Children deserve to be in a class where they can have fun, learn and be safe and that is precisely my main goal as a teacher. We have been using little by little all the resources from the donation in our daily center activities, in the circles of the entire group. I put the folders in my class, one in the library and another in the construction center so that the children are not sitting on the floor but on the rugs. I plan to continue doing incredible activities to be able to incorporate all the materials. Once again, thank you very much, you do an incredible job on this platform.","fullyFundedDate":1737141371127,"projectUrl":"project/new-teacher-teaching-leaders-of-the-futu/8850455/","projectTitle":"New teacher teaching leaders of the future.","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9787903_orig.jpg?crop=770,770,x0,y110&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756226475326","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9787903"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_16712","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":680,"numTeachers":53,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":14,"percentBlack":38,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":38,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":61.8,"schoolId":16712,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Skyview Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Skyview Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/richardson-independent-school-district/skyview-elementary-school/16712"}
