Your kindness and generosity have already made a significant impact on both my students and me.\r\n\r\nWhen the new resources arrived, the excitement in the classroom was simply contagious. The students were wide-eyed and bursting with enthusiasm. They couldn't wait to explore the new materials, and watching their faces light up as they unpacked everything was a moment I'll cherish forever.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the resources in various ways across different subjects. One memorable moment was during a recent math lesson, where the students used some of the manipulatives to solve problems together in small groups. It was amazing to see how quickly they engaged with the materials and supported each other in their learning.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, my students are not only learning—they're thriving. Your support has created opportunities that will continue to inspire and educate them throughout the school year. Our sensory safe space has transformed from what was once just a tray with blank pieces of paper and some markers to now buckets of options for students to choose from.\r\nStudents may select the artistic escape bucket where they can fold origami, mold playdough sculptures, or draw their zone of regulation. Or they can choose the creative crafter bucket to build a knex car or magic sand masterpiece. And then the consensus favorite has been the savvy scientist bucket where students get to explore with magnets and engineer toy vehicles.\r\nOur special education students, who sometimes are known to be the behavior heavy hitters with dysregulated emotions, now leave the special education resource room in a calm and regulated mindset prepared for the general education setting thanks to the resources provided by your donation.
