Adding a light table to our Discovery Center will encourage independent exploration as well as engage students in learning new material. The table has a soft light that draws the attention of the student to the activities. The manipulative set that goes with the table will help engage students on all levels including sorting, matching, letter and number recognition and more! Teachers report seeing increased interest in learning and attention span for learning with their young students when using light tables. This instructional tool will be utilized in my classroom in multiple ways to help engage students in learning and growing.
