In my classroom, technology is used for interactive lessons, language development programs, science simulations, and online assessments. The headphones allow students to hear instructions clearly, replay directions as needed, and fully engage with content at their own pace—something especially important for students who are learning English while also mastering grade-level material.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting to see is the increase in confidence and independence among my students. They are eager to use the headphones during lessons because they can focus without distractions and better understand what they are hearing. Several students who were previously hesitant to participate are now more willing to try, especially during listening activities and online quizzes. One student shared that using headphones helps them \"feel less nervous\" because they can take their time and truly understand before responding.\r\n\r\nYour support has created a more inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student has the tools they need to succeed. These headphones are more than just a classroom supply—they are helping my students build language skills, stay engaged, and feel empowered in their learning. Thank you for believing in them and making this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1758473690834,"projectUrl":"project/from-sound-to-success-tools-for-emergen/9720559/","projectTitle":"From Sound to Success: Tools for Emergent Bilinguals","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Frasher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8261934_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1641406476070","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8261934"},{"teacherId":9329634,"projectId":9756364,"letterContent":"We jumped right in using the resources during our girls' annual hiking trip, and they made the day so much smoother and more fun. The girls had helped plan parts of the hike ahead of time, but seeing everything come together on the trail was really special. One of my favorite moments was watching them check in on each other, share snacks, and hype each other up during the tougher parts of the hike.\r\n\r\nWhen they first saw the materials, they were so excited—especially the snacks. There were lots of big smiles and \"wait, these are for us?!\" moments. It made the hike feel extra special and helped everyone feel prepared and included.\r\n\r\nNow that the hike is over, we're using the experience back in the classroom. The girls are reflecting on the trip through writing and discussions, talking about teamwork, perseverance, and what they noticed in nature. They're already asking when we can do it again, which feels like the best possible outcome.","fullyFundedDate":1759444294605,"projectUrl":"project/snacks-for-success-supporting-our-annua/9756364/","projectTitle":"Snacks for Success: Supporting Our Annual Girls’ Hike.","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Owens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9329634_orig.jpg?crop=1440,1440,x454,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1697133676854","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9329634"},{"teacherId":8261934,"projectId":9720591,"letterContent":"When our students first saw the terrarium materials, their eyes lit up with excitement. They immediately began imagining what kinds of plants would thrive, how to arrange the rocks for drainage, and even which insects might make their homes inside. The 18-inch Jewel Terrarium quickly became the centerpiece of our classroom, drawing students in before school, during free time, and even after the bell rings.\r\n\r\nWe have now built our own mini ecosystem. Students carefully layered soil and gravel, planted live houseplants, and use the terrarium tools daily to water, clean, and observe. This is quite literally turning scientific concepts like photosynthesis, ecosystems, and the water cycle into real, living examples. One student said, \"It feels like we're taking care of our own tiny world.\"\r\n\r\nThis project has sparked collaboration, responsibility, and curiosity in a way that a textbook simply can't. Our potential next step is to introduce decomposers like isopods and springtails, allowing students to observe nutrient cycles in action. Because of your generosity, my students are not just learning science—they are doing science. Thank you for bringing this experience to life in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758473690593,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-habitat-building-a-classroom-t/9720591/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Habitat: Building a Classroom Terrarium","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Frasher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8261934_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1641406476070","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8261934"},{"teacherId":10038036,"projectId":9575672,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your kind donation.
