One of the main strategies AVID focuses on is collaboration, the importance of working with others is something that is talked about frequently in the AVID program. Students work on creation projects in groups, they lead group tutoring sessions twice a week, and they engage in connecting with each other to make sure everyone is successful. Working at a Title I campus it is difficult to get funding for appropriate furniture, I would greatly appreciate your help in providing these tables in my classroom for my students. I want them to walk into an environment that is inviting, engaging and promotes collaboration with each other.
