At the beginning of the school year, my students were genuinely thankful to receive their notebooks. We use them every day to complete warm-ups, record important notes, organize information, and build a personal resource they can refer back to throughout the year. Having a dedicated notebook helps students develop organization, independence, and consistent study habits.\r\n\r\nThe donated pencils have also made a daily impact. Students know they can visit my pencil drawer whenever they need one, ensuring that a lack of supplies does not prevent them from participating in class or completing their work. This simple resource helps remove barriers to learning and allows students to focus on science rather than worrying about having the materials they need.\r\n\r\nThis year, 184 students have benefited from these donations, giving them the essential tools to learn, write, and stay organized. One of my favorite outcomes has been seeing students decorate their notebooks and make them unique. Their creativity has turned a basic school supply into something personal that they can take pride in.
