These resources have quickly become an essential part of our daily learning.\r\n\r\nWe are using the boards in so many engaging ways. During our phonics lessons, students practice writing letters, blending sounds, and building simple words. One special moment that stood out was during a small-group activity where students used their boards to \"stretch out\" and write CVC words (like cat and dog). It was amazing to see their confidence grow as they erased and tried again without fear of making mistakes. The boards have truly created a safe space for learning and experimentation.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious! They couldn't wait to start writing and drawing. Many of them treated the boards like a special tool, eagerly asking, \"Can we use our boards today?\" It made learning feel new and fun, and even my more hesitant learners were excited to participate. As we move forward, we are continuing to build on our reading and writing skills. Our next steps include using the boards for sentence writing and simple math problems, helping students explain their thinking and share their ideas with the class. We are also incorporating them into interactive games that reinforce sight words and number sense.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a meaningful difference in our classroom. Thank you for helping create such an engaging and supportive learning environment for our students!","fullyFundedDate":1769192068533,"projectUrl":"project/mistakes-are-proof-youre-trying/10040611/","projectTitle":"Mistakes Are Proof You’re Trying!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10412313"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_9593","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":711,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":73,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":50,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":38,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"25.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":64.7,"schoolId":9593,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Russell Schupmann Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Russell Schupmann Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/red-oak-independent-school-district/red-oak-intermediate-school/9593"}
