Your kindness and support mean more than I can put into words, and I feel so fortunate to have people like you investing in the creativity, confidence, and growth of my students.\r\n\r\nAs an art teacher, I have the privilege of watching students discover their own creativity every day. For many children, the art classroom is a place where they can explore, experiment, make mistakes, and express themselves in ways they may not always be able to do elsewhere. Having access to quality art supplies and materials makes those experiences even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nYour donations will allow my students to try new techniques, explore different materials, and bring their ideas to life. Whether they are painting, drawing, sculpting, creating mixed-media projects, or simply experimenting with something for the first time, these supplies give them opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences. Every brush, pencil, piece of paper, container of paint, and creative material becomes another tool that helps a young artist discover what they are capable of creating.\r\n\r\nWhat I especially love about teaching art is that there is rarely just one \"right\" answer. Students learn to make choices, solve problems, think creatively, and develop their own artistic voices. Your generosity helps me create an environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and feel proud of the work they create. Those are skills that extend far beyond the art room.\r\n\r\nYour support also sends an important message to my students: their creativity matters. When members of our community choose to invest in their education and provide resources for them, students can see that others believe in their potential. That is a gift that goes far beyond the supplies themselves.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the importance of art education and for supporting our classroom. Thank you for helping me give my students opportunities to create, explore, imagine, and express themselves. Most of all, thank you for being part of our art community and for helping make our classroom a place where creativity can flourish.","fullyFundedDate":1774482600075,"projectUrl":"project/lf-elementary-art-studio/10169293/","projectTitle":"LF Elementary Art Studio","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Freeman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8494683_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1654812098643","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8494683"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_108356","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1046,"numTeachers":57,"percentFrplEligible":3,"percentAsian":22,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":58,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":6,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"18.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":108356,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Light Farms Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Light Farms Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/prosper-independent-school-district/light-farms-elementary/108356"}
