My students were so excited as the materials started to come in and we opened the boxes together. Many of my students need more movement than the middle school environment provides, and multiple others find the larger classroom environment overwhelming. Having this equipment has allowed those that need a quiet space somewhere to retreat to and take a break, and has given greater movement options to those who need the sensory stimulation of swinging, rocking, or crashing. It has made a huge difference in our classroom environment to be able to meet these needs and we all really appreciate it!
