My students had the best time using the Chompsaw and can't wait to use it again. \r\n\r\nOur fall makerspace challenge asked students to create haunted houses out of cardboard. We had several workdays after school, where students used the Chompsaw. They designed their houses and used the Chompsaw to make the cuts. They were so empowered by being able to cut cardboard into specific shapes all by themselves. I loved watching how excited they got.\r\n\r\nThey are already calling for another cardboard makerspace project - I'm thinking birdhouses this spring!\r\n\r\nGiving students these kinds of hands-on experiences is what makes my job fun.
