You have provided our students with some of their much-needed essentials, helping prepare them for their future in healthcare. The students started the year off by learning to do vital signs. The blood pressure cuff and stethoscopes were allotted to each student. The students are practicing taking vitals daily and will soon transition to the clinical area.\r\n\r\nOur new resources have already made a meaningful difference in our classroom. My students are using the materials during hands-on lessons and collaborative projects, giving them opportunities to explore concepts in ways that feel engaging and relevant. One especially exciting moment was seeing students eagerly gather around the new materials, immediately wanting to touch, explore, and figure out how they could use them. Their excitement showed me how much these resources can encourage curiosity and active learning.\r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled when they first saw the materials. They were excited to have new tools to work with and asked thoughtful questions about what they could create and discover. Instead of simply learning about a concept, they were able to interact with it, test their ideas, and learn from one another.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue building on this excitement through our current classroom project. Students will continue to use the new resources to deepen their understanding, work together to solve problems, and share what they have learned. I am grateful to our donors for helping make these experiences possible. Your support has given my students more opportunities to learn by doing and brought a new level of excitement.","fullyFundedDate":1778262207171,"projectUrl":"project/future-healthcare-workers/10025133/","projectTitle":"Future Healthcare Workers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bluitt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9113977"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_12766","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":530,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":26,"percentWhite":13,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":54,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"12.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":73.3,"schoolId":12766,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mexia High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mexia High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/mexia-independent-school-district/mexia-high-school/12766"}
