With the newly added books, I noticed that students who usually avoided reading were more eager to browse and select something that matched their interests. These texts not only engaged them but also helped build their background knowledge and critical thinking skills, which showed up in their writing and discussions.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my students had more chances to find books that matched their interests and identities. Whether they were reading about current social topics or exploring personal stories through nonfiction, more of them saw reading as something relevant to their world, not just an assignment.
