Just this week, during a STAAR-style reading practice, several students were able to continue working without missing a beat because we quickly plugged their devices into the charging station. Before, those same students would have lost valuable instructional time.\r\n\r\nWhen the power stations first arrived, my students were so excited. They immediately noticed that we could charge multiple devices at once, and they loved that we didn't have to stop what we were doing to search for outlets or switch devices. It may seem like a small thing, but to them, it meant they could keep learning, collaborating, and staying engaged without frustration. It also helped create a more equitable environment, where every student has the same opportunity to stay connected to their work.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these resources daily as we prepare for upcoming assessments and build our skills across all subjects. My students are currently working on research projects and digital writing assignments, and having consistent access to charged devices allows them to fully participate from start to finish.
