Many of my students benefit from hands-on and visual learning materials, and being able to quickly print and create durable resources allows me to provide them with exactly what they need to succeed.\r\n\r\nTechnology in our classroom doesn't always look like a tablet or laptop. Sometimes it's the tools that help teachers create meaningful learning materials. With the printer, I can design and print differentiated activities, visual supports, communication boards, and adapted worksheets that meet each student at their individual learning level. The cardstock has been especially helpful because it makes these materials stronger and longer lasting. Many of our resources are used daily for reading practice, math centers, behavior supports, and communication activities.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is the colorful, interactive materials we are now able to use. Instead of working only on paper that gets torn or worn out quickly, students can use sturdy task cards, matching games, and visual schedules that help them stay engaged and independent. We have already used our NEX playground system numerous tines and one HUGE thing that I have noticed is that some of the students that typically don't like participating in the traditional activities like sports, fitness stations, running, etc have really gravitated to playing the games on the NEX system and are now enjoying a workout without even thinking about it as exercise and for that I truly do thank you! They absolutely love experimenting with the materials and discovering which items are conductors and which are insulators. Watching their excitement as they test different objects and predict outcomes has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nThrough these activities, students have developed a strong understanding of the key parts of a circuit, including the power source, switch, pathway, light bulb, and insulator. Rather than simply reading about these concepts, they are building them, testing them, and seeing them in action. This hands-on experience has deepened their comprehension and strengthened their confidence in science.\r\n\r\nThe Snap Circuits have been especially impactful. Students love putting the pieces together and following step-by-step instructions to create working circuits. They are able to clearly see how energy flows through a system, which has made abstract concepts much easier to understand.
