I've seen reluctant writers become excited to draw and label their pictures, stretching out words and practicing their sounds. During our Daily 3 rotations, students are more engaged and focused because they feel prepared and equipped.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have been a game changer. They allow students to fully engage in listening centers without distractions, which is especially important as they build early reading skills.
