The timer added excitement and helped students stay focused during activities.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited and eager to use them. Even quieter students felt more confident sharing their ideas using the boards.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these tools to practice reading and writing skills, especially explaining answers using text evidence. It has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the room. We use the rug every day during read-alouds, small group discussions, and whole-class lessons. The rug has created a comfortable and welcoming space where students feel ready to learn and participate.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the rug, they were so excited and couldn't wait to sit on it. It has helped build a sense of community in our classroom. Moving forward, we will continue using the rug for collaborative learning, partner work, and literacy activities.
