Having these snacks has been so beneficial to my students and to me and my teaching. It is amazing how providing a little snack can change the students entire mood and ability to preform. I always tell my students that I would not be able to provide these snacks for them without the generous donors, and that we should always pay things forward whenever possible. We began thankful Tuesday, where we did any and all small acts of kindness we could that did not cost any money. Students absolutely LOVE the beanbag chairs and really get into the \"Zone\" when sitting in a comfy spot with their headphones on. We truly thank you for your generosity and giving us the gift of comfort. \r\n\r\nWith an increasing number of students with anxiety, the headphones are a way for students to drown out the noise around them and focus on the work at hand. Using the headphones has allowed me to use videos as a learning resource, without listening to 30 + computers playing the same video, all at different places and volumes! \r\n\r\nThe bookshelf allows me to store necessary supplies (clipboards, pencils, paper, markers, etc.) right next to the beanbags, as well as the headphones. \r\n\r\nStudents beg to sit in one of the 4 bean bags donated. As a class we came up with a system of what table uses the bean bags that day. Students vote on the cleanest, quietest, most on task table to use the bean bags for the following day.","fullyFundedDate":1735704888767,"projectUrl":"project/fight-or-flight-homeostasis-needed/8995090/","projectTitle":"Fight or Flight?
