When they first saw the new scissors, glue, and pencils, they were genuinely excited—having their own supplies meant they could fully participate without worrying about sharing or missing materials.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable activities we did was our Polygon Creation Project. Students were given different types of polygons to cut out and arrange into a unique figure of their choice—some created animals, others designed buildings or abstract art. This project reinforced their understanding of polygon properties while allowing them to think creatively and problem-solve as they arranged their shapes. The best part was seeing their pride when they presented their final designs to the class, explaining how they used specific polygons in their creations.\r\n\r\nThese basic supplies have made a huge impact, allowing my students to engage in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
