The donation funds were applied directly to the supply costs that allowed the students to take part in some but not limited to the following activities: Using CSI tape and evidence markers to secure a crime scene which used visual learning that required paying attention to details, Using notebook, sketch books and rulers to take notes interviewing witnesses and sketching out the scene which used writing and language proficiency skills and some artistic skill, the paper bag supplies, note cards, and fingerprint kits to collect evidence in order to process for fingerprints and lip prints and then compare those unknown fingerprints/lip prints to known samples were extremely helpful as well..... The most favorite activity the students enjoyed the most was using washable paint, straws, paper plates, and measuring tapes to analyze bloodstain patterns which utilized math and science knowledge... all while making a fun mess for me to clean up! LOL!!
