As a Resource ELA teacher, I work with an incredible group of students who rely on accommodations like text-to-speech to access their learning. Your contribution has made a real difference in their daily experience.\r\n\r\nThe headphones you helped provide—with attached microphones—have been a game changer. I chose this style specifically for some of my tech-savvy students who were using the speech-to-text feature on their iPads to write essays. Before, they had to hold the iPads close to their faces, which often drew unwanted attention. Now, thanks to the new headphones, they can speak comfortably and confidently, using the tools they need without feeling self-conscious. It's a small shift that's had a big impact on their confidence and ability to engage with their learning.\r\n\r\nThe color printer has also been a tremendous asset. Many of my students have dyslexia, and during a recent training, I learned that reading traditional black text on white paper can be especially challenging for them. Printing in color, as research suggests, significantly improves their ability to read and comprehend materials. Your support has made it possible for me to provide resources that are not only functional but truly accessible to all of my students.\r\n\r\nThank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me create a classroom where all students can learn in ways that work best for them.
