Many of the students I teach do not always have the means to obtain their own school supplies, and because of your donation, I am able to ensure that every student has what they need. Students no longer hesitate to ask for materials, as they know these resources are readily available to them—all thanks to your support.\r\n\r\nOur school community experienced an unimaginable tragedy last summer, and returning to school under such difficult circumstances was a significant challenge. Having the assurance that students would be fully supported and equipped with the necessary materials made a meaningful difference. They came to school knowing that we had their backs and that their needs would be met.\r\n\r\nEach student received their own binder and pencil, which they use daily to organize their music and prepare for successful choral rehearsals. The additional pencils allow students to borrow one whenever needed, ensuring that learning is never disrupted. The Astrobrights paper is used to create programs for our choir concerts throughout the school year, while the laminating sheets help me create durable instructional materials and signage for the classroom. The letter-tray organizer has also been invaluable in keeping music organized for each choir class.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly thankful for your generosity and for the positive impact you have made on my students and my classroom. Your support has helped create a welcoming and well-equipped environment for meaningful and successful choral rehearsals.","fullyFundedDate":1767710831319,"projectUrl":"project/middle-school-choir-class-supplies/9981803/","projectTitle":"Middle School Choir Class Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Putnam","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10295373"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_12320","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1016,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":56,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":47,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":46,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"19.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":90.5,"schoolId":12320,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Peterson Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Peterson Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/kerrville-independent-school-district/peterson-middle-school/12320"}
