The glow sticks were a huge hit when we used them to demonstrate evidence of chemical changes, showing how energy is released in a reaction. We also conducted an exciting experiment with baking soda and vinegar, allowing students to observe the formation of gas as proof of a chemical reaction. Additionally, we used the cardstock paper and play dough to create 3D models of Earth's layers, helping students visualize the structure of our planet in a hands-on way.\r\n\r\nMy students were beyond excited when they saw the materials! They couldn't wait to start experimenting. Their faces lit up when they cracked the glow sticks and saw them glow in the dark, and they were eager to see the fizzing reaction of baking soda and vinegar. The 3D Earth model project sparked a lot of creativity, and they took pride in designing and labeling their models. These hands-on activities truly made learning engaging and memorable for them.\r\n\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be diving deeper into the rock cycle, using models to explore how different types of rocks are formed through various geological processes. We'll also be conducting more chemistry experiments to reinforce the concept of physical and chemical changes. Thanks to these resources, my students are developing a deeper understanding of science through exploration and discovery. We truly appreciate the generosity of our donors for making these engaging experiences possible!","fullyFundedDate":1731521817342,"projectUrl":"project/science-essentials-needed-asap-help/8813871/","projectTitle":"Science Essentials needed ASAP Help!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Levinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7175913"},{"teacherId":6628449,"projectId":8803988,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity.
