I am a 6th grade Social Studies World Cultures Teacher. I believe student engagement is key which is why I feel it is important for my students to be hands on with artifacts and technology. My goal is to inspire my students to be more conscience and respectful of others cultures,customs and beliefs. I love teaching my students but feel they deserve more materials, technology and artifacts than the district provides. Our students come from diverse backgrounds including low income homes, single parent, reduced lunch and homeless. We are a Title 1 school and DO NOT receive any funding or compensation for our supplies. Leaving the teacher to take from our salary to make this happen. I only want the best experiences for my student that will inspire them to change their school, community,state,country, and then the world. It could happen! With your help it will. Thanks for your time and consideration.
