Teaching students the science behind the environment and developing students critical analysis skills is important that goes beyond the course itself.\r\n\r\nMany of our labs involve longer periods of time (Ex. The effect of fertilizer on seed development) or expense (Ex. Water testing using analytical probes.) As technology advances, sometimes are equipment needs to be updated and unfortunately, school budgets are shrinking every year, especially for science. My classes find themselves unable to complete some of the basic labs due to a lack of the correct probes for our current technology (Chromebooks). I am looking to gain more probes for Water Quality Testing. My long term goal is to have several class sets. (Currently I am still putting together one set.)\r\n\r\nYour generous donation puts me closer to that goal. I want students to be able to see how water quality varies between tap water and bottled water.
