Painting can be a challenge for children with fine motor difficulties. Early childhood development tends to emphasize play and process. Using a paintbrush with controlled movements and pressures is difficult!\r\nKwik stix affords us the opportunity to use paints but with a large wide base grip and in the form similar to coloring with a marker. Children can still mix colors and not make a huge mess!\r\nWe have used them a lot with making backgrounds especially.
