Inside the gratitude jar our students wrote what they were grateful for on sticky notes and then decorated their jars to their likings. Once their decorations were complete. The students had to share what they wrote on their sticky notes and then tape them to the jars. \r\n\r\nWhat's Next\r\nOur next project is called The Grocery Store Adventure where our students will learn how to count money, make a shopping list and stick to a budget. \r\n\r\nActivity 2 \r\nHeb Grocery Adventure \r\n\r\nObjective: This activity is a fun way to teach kids about money management, healthy food choices, and basic math in a hands-on, interactive way. Students will use pretend money to shop for a list of items and work to stay within their budget.\r\n\r\nSupplies Used: \r\nPlay Money\r\nPencils\r\nBudget Sheet \r\nLaminated Shopping List\r\n\r\nReaction\r\nThis activity topped the charts for our students. They could not believe how hard grocery shopping could be. Our students were only allowed $30 to feed their family of 4 for two days. Oh the struggle was real. \r\n\r\nWhat's Next?\r\nOur next classroom activity is called The Density Rainbow.
