These materials have truly been a game changer for my students. Technology is an important part of learning in our classroom, and thanks to your generosity, my students now have the tools they need to use their Chromebooks successfully every day.\r\n\r\nBefore this project, not every student was able to bring headphones or a computer mouse from home. Some students had these tools available to them, while others did not. Now, every student can come to school knowing that the materials they need are waiting for them. Having classroom headphones and mice has helped create a more equitable learning environment where a student's ability to participate does not depend on what their family is able to purchase.\r\n\r\nHaving a reliable place to store and charge our Chromebooks has also made a tremendous impact on our classroom. Our charging cart keeps our devices organized, protected, and ready for learning. Students no longer have to worry about beginning an activity only to discover that their Chromebook needs to be charged. Having charged devices ready to go means we can spend more of our instructional time learning and less time troubleshooting technology.\r\n\r\nMy students use technology every day for reading, math, assessments, individualized learning programs, and many other activities. The headphones allow students to listen and work independently without distracting others, the mice make navigating their Chromebooks easier and more efficient, and the charging cart ensures that our devices are ready when we need them.\r\n\r\nWhat may seem like simple technology supplies have made a meaningful difference in our classroom. Students can focus on learning instead of worrying about whether they have the right equipment or a charged device. Most importantly, every child has the same opportunity to participate, learn, and be successful.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping me create a classroom where technology is organized, reliable, and accessible to everyone. Many of my students often come to school without snacks, and having food available during the day has helped ensure they are able to stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. When students are not distracted by hunger, they are much more engaged in lessons and independent practice.\n\nThe headphones have also been incredibly valuable during station time and independent work. In a busy classroom, it can be difficult for students to concentrate with background noise, but the headphones allow them to focus on their own learning tasks without distraction. This has supported stronger independence, especially during listening activities, digital assignments, and small-group rotations.\n\nWhat has been most exciting for students is having their own set of headphones to use consistently. For many, this is a new experience, and they take pride in using them responsibly. It has made learning feel more accessible and enjoyable, especially for students who benefit from audio support or need a quieter space to focus.\n\nSeveral students who are easily distracted or who struggle with focus have especially benefited from this support. I’ve noticed they are more engaged, stay on task longer, and complete work with greater confidence when they are able to use the headphones.
