The magnetic uppercase and lowercase letters are absolutely perfect to help support goals of learning upper and lower case letters, while feeling fun and not so much like a plain worksheet. This is so much more engaging and accessible, having students work independently helps so that I can get to other students while others have a hands on task to complete. These tools allow students to practice literacy concepts through movement and interaction, which is essential for many of my learners.\r\n\r\nThe sensory sequin sheet will serve as a calming and regulating tool for students who need tactile input. This will help reduce anxiety, increase focus, and support positive behavior during instruction and transitions. As you can see it was already put on the table in the photos because I just couldn't wait for the other packages to arrive, I knew my students would love it and they did!\r\n\r\nZiploc bags will play an important role in organization and differentiation. They will allow me to create individualized, reusable learning activities tailored to each student's needs. Together, these items will help create a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment where my students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.","fullyFundedDate":1776454182148,"projectUrl":"project/rest-time-manipulatives/10098360/","projectTitle":"Rest Time Manipulatives","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trevino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10431978_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1771893219643","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10431978"},{"teacherId":10431978,"projectId":10094109,"letterContent":"because of your generosity, my students now have something that truly belongs to them, individualized resource binders designed specifically for their unique needs.\r\n\r\nI teach kindergarten through second grade students with intellectual disabilities and other disabilities, including students who are nonverbal. With the donated laminator, printer, binders, and lamination sheets, I was able to create durable, personalized materials aligned to each student's individual goals.\r\n\r\nThese binders are more than organized papers. They give my students consistent access to communication supports, adapted academics, and goal-based practice when we are not in whole-group lessons. For some students, this means practicing letters, numbers, or matching seasons. For others, it means having visual tools that help them communicate their needs and reduce frustration.\r\n\r\nThe lamination ensures the materials can withstand daily use, allowing my students to handle them independently and confidently. At times, students can have out burts or be frustrated and rip their papers, this helps get ahead of that issue. What may seem like simple supplies have created greater independence, access, and empowerment in our classroom. I absolutely love being in this type of setting, this donation is just an amazing gift to a low funded school who consistently goes above and beyond to help the students get the best education possible.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping create tools that support their growth every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1771025094956,"projectUrl":"project/resource-binders/10094109/","projectTitle":"Resource Binders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trevino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10431978_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1771893219643","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10431978"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8785","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":695,"numTeachers":50,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":2,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":95,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.7,"schoolId":8785,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about H.W.
