Because of your donation, my students now have access to real specimens, a mini fridge for proper storage, and classroom decor that makes our learning space more engaging and inspiring.\r\n\r\n🧪 How are we using the new resources?\r\nWe've already begun using the specimens during our unit on cell structure and classification. Students are observing and comparing different microorganisms under the microscope, and the mini fridge allows us to safely store materials for repeated use. The decor has helped transform the room into a space that feels more like a real lab, which boosts student engagement and pride.\r\n\r\n🎉 Student Reactions\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their faces lit up! Many of them said, \"This feels like a college lab!\" and were excited to dive into hands-on activities. The specimens especially sparked curiosity—they couldn't wait to explore them under the microscope.\r\n\r\n🔬 What's next?\r\nWe're currently working on a microscopy and staining lab where students will identify microorganisms and practice using lab equipment. These resources are helping us build foundational skills that will carry through the rest of the course. Next, we'll move into microbial growth and begin using the fridge to store cultures for observation over time.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible.
