Most are nonverbal and their meltdowns can range from crying to classroom destruction. Sometimes just the environment is enough to trigger that. It has been mind blowing seeing my kids use these times especially the bubble tube to watch and relax. It's beautiful, breathtaking and the touch tiles have been great for calming my kids down and even teaching them to count and create patterns 💕. Since getting the books, students are choosing to go to library station to read every day. It is amazing hearing their literacy conversations. The students are in love with our rolling drying rack. We are able to use it for whole group projects with both classes as well as they are able to use it while working independently on an art project. Before we were having to find space and take away station in order to have a place for the students artwork to dry, but now they are able to independently take ownership of knowing the exact spot and in where their artwork belongs in order to dry. \r\n\r\nBy providing this invaluable supply to our classroom you are helping make prek students use their working memory in order to remember where to place their work to dry. This goes a long with our program and helps the students grow into independent thinkers.
