The rubber fish immediately sparked a lot of questions, and the students couldn't wait to dive into the how-to drawing books. We've already put so many of the supplies to good use, and we have plenty more projects to look forward to!\r\n\r\nOne of our biggest projects so far has been stop-motion animation. The students brainstormed ideas, created storyboards, built sets, and filmed their own animations with only a little guidance from me. They took ownership of their ideas and worked through the creative process themselves. The hot glue gun and glue sticks were in constant use throughout the project!\r\n\r\nI've also set up Friday art stations where students can explore different materials and activities of their choice. The Buddha Board has quickly become a favorite, along with the drawing books. The students love having the freedom to experiment and create, and the trays you helped provide make it easy to keep everything organized and accessible.\r\n\r\nNext semester, we'll be exploring gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish printing, and the students can't wait to get their hands on those colorful fish! We will also put that gallon of glue to use by creating giant papier-mâché heads modeled after the students themselves. Needless to say, your donation is making its way into all kinds of creative adventures!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting art education and choosing to fund our entire project list. Your generosity has given my students opportunities to experiment and discover new ways to express themselves.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was when the students started asking who you were, where you lived, and why you would seek out a school to support. They were genuinely curious about the people behind this gift. Your generosity gave me an opportunity to talk with them about kindness, community, and the good people do for others, even when they've never met them. They're learning that there are people out there who want to help others succeed—and that they can be those people, too.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students.
