It is study and easy to clean. The rug becomes a necessary addition to a classroom. Before the rug, the children had the cold floor. The class cheer when the rug arrived to the classroom. The cardboard used to packaged the rug was recycled to be part of a student led carnival attraction. We plan to make these shirts an annual tradition, keeping the cost low so that every student can have one, regardless of their background. Right now, our students are working on a community-building project where they design slogans and artwork for next year's shirts. They're learning about collaboration, creativity, and the importance of school spirit.
