Because of your kindness, our students have had an experience that truly exceeded our expectations.\r\n\r\nThe students were incredibly excited to receive and use the pedometers. They immediately began competing, racing to earn steps, and encouraging one another throughout the day. What started as a simple activity quickly became something that united both students and staff around a shared goal of movement and wellness. The excitement was contagious.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful aspects of this project was how inclusive it became. Every student, regardless of ability or circumstance, had a safe and supportive opportunity to participate and move at their own pace. Having the opportunity to use the \"cool\" pedometers made the students feel special, motivated, and proud to participate. The social aspect of the project made physical activity feel easy and enjoyable, especially for students who are typically more sedentary.\r\n\r\nThe impact extended beyond the students as well. Teachers absolutely loved the walking pad and several staff members tried it out right away. They appreciated how easy it was to fit extra movement into their busy day. We are now making plans to place it in a location that allows both privacy and accessibility so staff can continue using it daily.\r\n\r\nThis project taught us so much about how we can continue to improve and expand movement opportunities in our school. We are excited to continue building on its success next year by refining the program and finding new ways to motivate students and staff alike.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible.
