One special moment was watching the children choose their own books from the bins, sit together, and \"read\" by telling stories from the pictures. They're also learning to return books to the correct bin, which is helping them build early responsibility and independence.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new bins, they were so excited! They immediately gathered around, eager to look through all the books. Many of them were smiling, pointing at their favorite characters, and couldn't wait to start reading. They quickly learned how to take care of the books and where to put them back.\r\n\r\nNext, we're continuing to build early literacy skills by using the bins during small group lessons and centers. Students will practice identifying letters, talking about story elements, and retelling stories using the books they choose.
